WHY?
Federal law prohibits persons from purchasing firearms if they:
1. have been convicted of, or are under indictment for, a felony;
1. are fugitives from justice;
2. are unlawful users of, or addicted to, any controlled substance;
3. have been adjudicated as mental defectives or have been involuntarily committed to a mental institution;
4. are illegal aliens or aliens admitted under a nonimmigrant visa;
5. have been dishonorably discharged from the military;
6. have renounced their citizenship;
7. are subject to certain domestic violence restraining orders; or have been convicted of a misdemeanor
crime of domestic violence.
Don't YOU be the one to furnish any of these persons firearms !!
